How to Access Roczen Talks via Zoom

Roczen Talks are live, interactive sessions designed to support you on your health journey. We use Zoom to host these sessions so you can easily join from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

If you are new to Zoom or experiencing trouble connecting, follow the steps below to get set up.

1. How to Join a Roczen Talk

  • Check your email:

    • You will receive the join link after registering using the registration link sent via email by Roczen, where you can choose which talk date to attend.

    • You will then be sent the specific Zoom link to join that meeting in a separate email before the scheduled Talk.

  • Click the link: A few minutes before the Talk is scheduled to begin, click the link provided.

  • Enter the Passcode (if asked): Most links will log you in automatically. However, if Zoom asks for a passcode, you can find it in the same email or app notification that contained your link.

  • The Waiting Room: Once you join, you may be placed in a "Waiting Room." Don't worry; this simply means the host is getting ready. They will let you into the session shortly.

2. Preparing for the Call (First-Time Users)

If you have never used Zoom before, you will need to download the app. We recommend doing this at least 20 minutes before your first Roczen Talk.

  • On a Smartphone or Tablet: Download the "Zoom Workplace" app from your app store.

  • On a Computer: Clicking the meeting link will automatically prompt you to download the Zoom software. Alternatively, you can join directly from your web browser without downloading anything by clicking "Join from Your Browser" at the bottom of the screen.

3. Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • I can’t hear anyone: When you join the meeting, ensure you select "Join with Computer Audio" (on a computer) or "Wifi or Cellular Data" (on a phone). If you are already in the meeting, tap the screen and look for the headphone icon in the bottom left corner labeled "Join Audio".

  • Nobody can hear or see me: Roczen Talks are often set up as webinars, meaning your microphone and camera may be automatically turned off by the host so you can just sit back and listen. If it is an interactive session, use the microphone and camera icons in the bottom left corner of your screen to unmute yourself or start your video.

  • The link isn't working: Try copying and pasting the link directly into your web browser. If it still doesn't work, verify that you are looking at the correct date and time for the Talk.
