If you have recently travelled to a different time zone, you might notice that your consultation appointment time is displayed in a different time zone. To update your device’s time zone settings, please follow the instructions below.

Tips: All our consultation appointments are shown in GMT (or BST). For the avoidance of doubt, please refer back to your appointment confirmation email. This email will show you the consultation appointment time slot in United Kingdom time (GMT or BST).

Android device

  1. Open your phone's Clock app

  2. Tap “More” > “Settings”

  3. To pick your home time zone: Tap “Home time zone”.

  4. To update your time zone based on your location: Tap “Change date & time” > Set time zone automatically > Use location to set time zone.

Apple (iOS) device

  1. Go to: Settings > General > Date & Time. This sets your date and time automatically based on your time zone.

  2. If a message appears saying that updated time zone information is available, restart your device and any paired Apple Watch devices.

  3. Allow your device to use its current location to determine the correct time zone. To do this, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > System Services and turn on Setting Time Zone.

  4. Check that your device is using the correct time zone in Settings > General > Date & Time > Time Zone.

Tips: We recommend that you select the set your time zone "automatically" option.
