Video consultations

Video consultations are one of the main channels of communication between you and our multidisciplinary clinical team. Here are some examples of when your clinicians will arrange a video consultation with you:

  • Onboarding - this is your first consultation with our clinicians, who are trained, metabolic health doctors or nurses. They’ll review your medical history and assess your suitability for our programmes during this consultation.

  • Regular follow-up - depending on your preference, our clinicians may want to speak with you on video on a monthly or quarterly basis to monitor your progress on the programme. Video consultations are particularly useful for troubleshooting any issues that you are experiencing whilst on the programme.

Booking / Scheduling

  1. Your clinician will send you an appointment calendar link

  2. Select an available slot that works best for you

  3. Enter your name and email address for the calendar invite to be sent to

  4. You will receive an email confirmation alongside a calendar invite, which contains dial-in details for your video consultation

Attending

  1. You will receive email reminders about your consultation prior to the consultation

  2. Locate the consultation calendar invite

  3. Click on the Join with Google Meet button. Your clinician will admit you into the virtual consultation area

Tips: If you are planning on attending the video consultation using your mobile phone, please ensure that you have:

  • Downloaded and installed the Google Meet app on your device

  • Signed up for a Google or Gmail account

Rescheduling or cancelling

  1. Locate the consultation calendar invite

  2. Click on the “Cancel Appointment” button

  3. Confirm your cancellation

  4. If you’d like to look for another appointment slot, click on the “Book another appointment” button on the calendar invite

  5. Repeat the steps in the Booking / Scheduling section above
