Groups are Mentor led, peer support messaging channels within the app.

They connect Mentors and Patients to one another allowing them to interact via written messages and receive carefully selected articles and resources.

My Group Conversation

Once you have been added to a group, you can find the 'My Group' conversation channel on the Home page, under the Conversations tab.

To open the conversation simply tap it.

Group information

You can find some basic information about the group conversation in the Group overview section including your Mentors name, names of your fellow members and some important links with more information about groups. To find this:

  • Open My group.

  • Tap the ℹ️ icon in the top right corner.

Reacting to a message with an emoji

Groups give you the ability to react to messages using emojis! To add an emoji:

  • Tap My group to open the Group conversation.

  • Tap the emoji button. This button appears to the bottom right of a message and may or may not have some emoji’s already attached to it.

  • Alternatively you can tap the menu button on the top right of your message.

  • Select an emoji from the quick list or tap the plus icon to choose from the full set of emojis.

  • To de-select an emoji you can open the drawer again and tap on your selected emoji to remove it.

Deleting a message

You are able to delete your own message within a group by tapping the menu button on the top right of your message and then selecting Delete.

Reporting & Blocking a message

You are able to report and block a group message if you tap the menu button on the top right of your message then tap Report & Block.

Group conversation hours

Your group hours are between 06:00 to 00:00 Monday to Sunday. Messages can only be sent during these hours.

Please note that groups are not for urgent care. If you require urgent assistance please dial 999.
