When it’s time to join an Appointment you will need to locate the Appointment card. It can be found on the Home page and under the tab Appointments.

  • Under Upcoming you will see an invite card.

  • Tap Join now on the invite card. The Join now button will appear 5 minutes before the appointment is due to start.

  • Adjust your video and microphone if required and confirm.

  • If your clinician has not joined yet you will enter the waiting room. The call should start shortly after the scheduled Appointment time.

  • If your clinician has already joined, the call will start imminently.

Appointment Tips

To ensure your video call Appointment runs smoothly, here is a list of things you will need:

  • A valid form of ID e.g passport or UK driving licence.

  • Good Wifi or 4G internet connection.

  • Somewhere private where you can talk about your health.

If you have any problems joining the video call please send your clinician a message.

Giving access to use microphone & camera

To join a video Appointment, you'll need to grant the app access to your microphone and camera. If you haven't already given permission you may need to use the steps below.

Android:

  • Find the Settings page on your device.

  • Select Apps from the list of options.

  • Select Roczen and then permissions.

  • Make sure you allow permissions for Microphone and also for Camera.

iOS:

  • Find and tap the Settings app on your device.

  • Tap on Privacy & Security.

  • Tap either Microphone or Camera.

  • Find the Roczen app in the list and toggle the switch next to it to On to allow access.

Ending an Appointment

Simply tap the hang up button to end the call. This button is red with a phone icon in the centre, and is in the bottom right corner of the screen.
