Creating a message
To create a message:
Open the clinician channel.
Tap the pen icon button in the bottom right corner to open the message editor.
Begin typing a message into the text field.
Tap the send button located in the bottom right corner of the message editor.
Attaching an image
To attach an image to a message:
First tap the pen icon in the bottom right corner to open the message editor.
Tap the image icon in the bottom left corner of the editor.
Select your image(s) using your device's file viewer.
Wait for the image(s) to upload, this may take longer with multiple images or slow connections.
If needed you are able to remove the image before sending.
Tap the send button in the bottom right corner once you're happy with your message.
Attaching a file
To attach a file to a message:
First tap the pen icon in the bottom right corner to open the message editor.
Tap the paperclip icon in the bottom left corner of the editor.
Select your file(s) using your device's file viewer
Wait for the file(s) to upload, this may take longer with multiple files or slow connections.
If needed you are able to remove the files before sending.
Tap the send button in the bottom right corner once you're happy with your message.
Text formatting
If you have typed some text into the message editor, you may want to add formatting to the text before sending.
Formatting options can be found at the bottom of the message editor, these include:
Bold text
Italic text
Bulleted list
Numbered list
Strikethrough text
Simply tap on the relevant icon to apply or remove the formatting from your selected text.
Saving a draft message
To save a message as a draft:
Begin typing your message and/or attach any images or files.
Tap the Close button located in the top right corner of the message editor or exit the chat completely.
The message will be automatically saved as a draft. You can return to it later to edit or send it.
